The World of Stars Loses a Light – Lisa Marie Presley’s Son Passes Away

Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough’s son – Benjamin Keough has passed away of an apparent suicide in Calabasas, California. He was only 27 years old. Law enforcement officials quote that the latter passed away due to “self-inflicted gunshot wound” on Sunday. As the heartbreaking news surfaced, Lisa Presley’s rep quoted “She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley [Keough]. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”

At the time of writing, Lisa Marie’s rep did not comment on the details surrounding Benjamins’ death. Furthermore, it is not yet confirmed beyond the officials statements about the actual cause of the death. The 27-year-old was born into a famous family, and seemingly did follow in her footsteps. Like his grandfather, Elvis Presley, and dad Danny, Benjamin was pursuing a career in music and entertainment according to various sources.

He reportedly signed a $5 million record deal in 2009 with Universal Records to set up five albums as per the publication. However, it is extremely unclear with what happened with the deal as not a single album was released. His older sister, Riley, was considered to be following in similar footsteps and made a name for herself in Hollywood.

The 31-year-old actress starred in The Girlfriend Experience, Logan Lucky, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Lodge and many other countless films and television series. Benjamin, who served as the older sibling to the Riley, he was also an older brother to his twin siblings, Finley Aaron Love Lockwood and Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood, who are both 11 years old.

Benjamin’s grandmother also just happens to be Priscilla Presley.

While not much is known about Benjamin in terms of friends or relationships, nothing concrete has been revealed about his sudden passing away. Watch this space for more.
